Step 1: Learn About Our Approach

You have two options to get started:
Option A: Attend an informational Consultation (No-Cost)
Join one of our educational Step One Consultation sessions where you’ll learn:
- The important roles of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone
- How thyroid health impacts your entire body
- Why hormone balance is about much more than a lab number
- How our personalized approach differs from traditional care
OR
Option B: Complete Our Health Survey & Meet with a Nurse Practitioner
If you’re ready to move forward with an appointment with a nurse practitioner, call 513-444-6343, Option 1 to set up your medical chart & complete our health survey so our providers can review your medical history and determine the most appropriate appointment for your needs.
Step 2: Meet with Your Provider
During your appointment, your provider will:
✓ Review your health history
✓ Discuss your symptoms and goals
✓ Answer your questions
✓ Determine whether additional testing would be beneficial
✓ Develop a personalized treatment plan
Depending on your individual needs, your provider may recommend hormone therapy, thyroid optimization, weight management, lifestyle modifications, nutritional support, advanced testing, or a combination of approaches.
Step 3: Testing When Appropriate
Testing is recommended based on your individual clinical picture—not because every patient follows the same protocol.
Your provider may recommend:
- DUTCH Complete Hormone Testing
- Comprehensive Thyroid Testing
- Gut Health & Microbiome Testing
- Hair Loss Testing
- Other laboratory testing as clinically appropriate
Our goal is to order the right testing for the right patient at the right time.
Step 4: Customized Treatment
If treatment is recommended, your provider will create an individualized care plan designed specifically for you.
Because Happy Hormone Cottage works closely with our own compounding pharmacy, we can provide customized medications when appropriate, including personalized strengths and delivery methods based on your needs.
Step 5: Ongoing Support
Your health journey doesn’t end after your appointment.
Our team is here to support you with:
- Follow-up appointments
- Prescription refills
- Provider communication through the Power2Patient Portal
- Educational resources
- Continued monitoring as your health goals evolve

The Happy Hormone Cottage works exclusively with the IHC and Pharmacy. We are known for the support we provide for the men and women who trust us their most important possession-their health. Not only do we provide consultation services- both in person, phone, and over zoom, but we also encourage continued contact after you begin to use your natural compounded hormones. We encourage you to keep a diary of how you are feeling, and then connect with us with any questions you may have. Using your Power2Patient portal is the easiest way to stay connected.
